New stuff at Emily Ryan's shop
One of my favorite Etsy seamstresses, Emily Ryan, recently added some gorgeous new duds to her shop. I'm totally smitten with this dress, especially the pleating.
A few of my favorite things around the web
Refinery29 Pipeline: This editorial from French Vogue makes me crave a jaunt to Paris even more than usual...
Refinery29 Pipeline: Everyone is talking about the new line Savant
Lost At E Minor: A book collecting 10 years worth of Jurgen Teller's quirky photography for Marc Jacobs. I love that image of Posh's legs coming out of the giant shopping bag!
Racked: File this under best idea ever! In England they now have vending machines selling flats to save us ladies from an unexpectedly tough day in heels.
Lost At E Minor: I can't take my eyes off these lamps by Schemata Architecture
Apartment Therapy: How fun is this chalkboard sticker!
Apartment Therapy: I'm utterly fascinated by repurposed spaces so naturally I can't take my eyes off this jumbo jet turned hostel in Stockholm.

More prints by Dan-ah Kim
I'm still all swept up in my obsession with Dan-ah Kim's art so I thought I'd take the chance to post a few more of her gorgeous prints here. Oh! And free shipping on domestic orders placed between now and June 15th at her shop!
Dan-ah Kim's music video for Asobi Seksu
Asobi Seksu - Me & Mary from Aaron Stewart-Ahn on Vimeo.
I simply adore artist Dan-ah Kim (I featured one of her prints in my very first post here!) so I could not have been more excited to see this post on The Storque about her music video for Asobi Seksu. What an ethereal beauty of a song and Dan-ah's animation is to die for.Wednesday, May 27, 2009

Lost At E Minor: They say it best: "Peter Funch’s panoramic composite photos of New York City street scenes may be mostly staged, but they capture that feeling every New Yorker has on occasion when they step outside that they’re on a movie set, or that everything happening around them is happening in concert."
Lost At E Minor: The new New Yorker cover made using the iPhone brushes app by Jorge Colombo
Refinery29 Pipeline: Opening Ceremony models Alexander Och's bow ties with bulldogs!
Bag Snob: I am just drooling over this new Chanel bag, which has the Moscow skyline quilted into it.
Coutorture: 125 evening gowns from fall 09 collections. I picked one crazy and one classic fave!

Wire dog letter holder
I am a dog lover to the nth degree so of course I am obsessed with this vintage wire dog letter holder ($18 from Funkey Finds)! See it and a few others over at one of my favorite blogs: She Can't Decide.
On an unrelated note, this is my 100th post :)

Shop spotlight: Sarah Seven
Don't these photos of Sarah Seven's dresses look straight out of a magazine? I think they are all so stunning... and this talented designer even donates 5% of sales to charity. What's not to love?
Directive!
All I can think of when I look at this tin canister robot sculpture ($69 from Reclaim2Fame) is WALL-E. Adorable! (via Etsy Stalker)
