Rose petals

Seeing illustrations on book pages always makes me think fondly of The Humument. This adorable one is by My Folk Lover. (Via MVSEVM)

Nate Duval's gig posters

I love love love music so it probably comes as no surprise that I love gig posters too. Nate Duval is one of my absolute favorite gig poster artists, with his intricate and whimsical designs that always perfectly capture the essence of the act. (You may recognize that Camera Obscura poster from my wall!)

New York City etchings

New York and I have a love/hate relationship but it's mostly love. But I entirely love these whimsical etchings of New York City scapes including the Q train and Coney Island's searly departed Astroland. $25-35 from New York by Ilia. (shop via MVSEVM)

Custom-made samplers

Ohmygosh how adorable are these samplers by Miniature Rhino?? The top one is so precious - put in your own names. But hey I'm a single gal so I've only got eyes for the second one, which is choose your own constellation. But which constellation to choose?!

I'm strangely fascinated by artist Jan Blommeart's visions of trash monsters... I'm particularly taken by the Starbucks cup fingers on the first one. (via Lost At E Minor)

I don't think it's any big secret that I'm pretty much counting down the seconds until I move out of my stud-ridden shoebox of an apartment. And let me tell you, when this magical day happens, I am creating the themed art wall of my dreams framed with these bad boys from 2 Dogs Wood Working. Don't they have the most wonderful carefree Cape Cod vibe?

Pretty painted tiles

Aren't these painted tiles by Robert Ryan ($38 each) darling? Though the second one breaks my heart.

Clothes pin art

One of my absolute favorite Etsy shops, Olive Someday, just added the most genius item to their inventory. Only $16 gets you three images from a vintage book mounted on card stock, clothes pins, cord and hooks. Love it!

Themed art walls made easy

I love the idea of a wall chock full of unifying theme art but am a bit daunted by the prospect of hunting and gathering for all of the pieces. Which is why I love this print collection by Modern Art Everyday - $35 for your choice of five of these ten prints. Wheee!

I'm still all swept up in my obsession with Dan-ah Kim's art so I thought I'd take the chance to post a few more of her gorgeous prints here. Oh! And free shipping on domestic orders placed between now and June 15th at her shop!

Wordy collage from Midlife Modern

This deer collage ($20) from Midlife Modern (via Etsy Stalker) has reminded me of my love for Tom Phillips' Humument. The British artist turned every page of the novel "A Human Document" into pieces of amazingly intricate art. [A] Hum[an] [Doc]ument
