Note to self
I'm crushing on these customized index card pouches ($14) from Christina's. Personally I'm partial to the Notes to Myself idea but there's really no way to go wrong. So cute! A zillion times more adorable than those plastic notecard cases, which flash me back to cramming for finals in the worst possible way.

My tiny bedroom - Selby style
Pretty much everyone I know is obsessed with Todd Selby's ability to capture a personality via their living space, particularly the small knick-knacks. I think it would be so much fun for some bloggers to share their spaces that way-- the gizmos and gadgets and arts and trinkets that define them and their homes. I've invited some of my favorite bloggers to join me in giving a glimpse into their world and I hope you will join too! And if you do, please let me know (ecm286 [@] gmail [.] com)! Without further ado, a few of my favorite things that I've crammed into my tiny shoebox of a room:
Pretty painted tiles
Aren't these painted tiles by Robert Ryan ($38 each) darling? Though the second one breaks my heart.

Hello beautiful
I have been having a really tough few days but these ego award rings from Jimena Rios are bringing a much-needed smile to my face. (via Made By Girl)

Coconut Records is the musical love of my life
Any Fun - Coconut Records - Music Video
My longtime love for Jason Schwartzman's band Coconut Records is well documented. I simply adore their ultra California sound. It's not groundbreaking, but it's always real good. And isn't this video fun? Chloe Sevigny couldn't have been more perfect for it. All I have to say is: Jason, call me.

A new dress by Leanne Marshall!
Project Runway winner Leanne Marshall, aka Etsy seller Leanimal, has the most gorgeous dress up for sale at her shop. This stunning shade of cobalt blue is my favoritest color.
She just sold this pretty pretty wedding dress. Doesn't it look perfect for a breezy outdoor wedding? Not a tropical one per say, but one on Cape Cod on a lovely New England summer day.
The ultra adorable Ms. Marshall. She just seems like such a warm person. I want to be her friend!

Hipster kids
I'm not really a kids person (I know, I know, I'm sorry) but these Hipster Kids photos have got my biological clock ticking. Just a little.
Your fears erased here daily
I am just in love with this image. Does anyone know where this is? I'm dying to go. Or maybe I'll just get a blackboard and make my own. What would you write? (image via)

Type Tuesday: Stencil
At long last, the second installment of Type Tuesday (as inspired by Poppytalk)! This time around I've got a batch of stencil fonts.
I like the sponge effect on this one.
This one has dripping paint!
This one make me think of when kids stencil house numbers on sidewalks as an odd job.
I think of a too-good-to-be-true doodle book when I see this one. Like one from an indie film or Mean Girls. Burn!
